A building advisor can assist you at any time throughout your project with advice, or guidance on any aspect of your project. As an example you may have variations submitted and you want advice on how to a) assess whether or not the variations are valid, or b) how to assess whether or not the costs are fair and reasonable.
Generally speaking, building advisory is a cost-effective way to get access to a project manager, but without the cost associated ongoing cost of a project manager. We typically work on an hourly rate for our building advisory works, and we can provide you with documents to assist with close out of any issues you may be encountering.
Yes, we can help you tender. We can provide you with tendering proforma to ensure you have the best possible outcome with your tender. This depends on the engagement type proceeded with. More recently our team have been undertaking more building advisory where we only provide guidance, advice and project management to a project as/if needed. This not only keeps cost down, but gives assurance to our clients that they always have external assistance, should they need it.
Yes, we can provide you with project management documentation so you can project manage your project yourself. Our documentation guides you through each phase of the delivery of your project, with tips and advice in each section. Included is template documentation, and easy to follow process guides.
Our building advisory services have been created to 'fill this void' for cost sensitive projects. You can have access to one of our team via phone at any time to assist you with any queries during your construction. We also suggest that purchasing our project management documentation would be an extremely cost-effective way to ensure your project is managed well.
Yes, we can assist you with a timeline (or program) review. The most critical aspect of a program is to ensure your project remains collaborative between yourself, the head contractor and the subcontractors. We can assist you with guidance and advice on how to get your project back on track, and set a realistic and achievable completion date.
